After the success of their first ever production The Picture of Dorian Gray earlier in the year, new theatre company Script in Hand Productions are bringing their latest show Alice to the Epstein Theatre on Saturday (September 1) as part of the venue's first ever season. Directed by the company's very own Joseph Mitchley and Zara Brown, Alice is described as a "dark and warped return to Wonderland". In this tragic tale Alice awakes to find herself in her favourite children’s book Alice in Wonderland, however the beautiful place she once imagined has turned into a nightmare. Undaunted by the horrific atmosphere and the mortal danger that surrounds her, Alice embarks on a twisted mission to save a Wonderland gone badly wrong.  Script in Hand Productions describe themselves as “creating professional, innovative, original pieces of work on a shoe-string budget by the stars of tomorrow; adding a totally new and exciting twist to a classic tale."

Alice is running for one night only at new The Epstein Theatre. To book, call the box office on 0844 888 4411 or visit www.epsteinliverpool.co.uk.
