Gallery: Improvathon day 2
It started as a tale of life in a genteel English village. Some 2014 minutes - or roughly 33-and-a-half hours later - sweet old granny Mother Bowman had been revealed as a regenerating demon, possessing the family for 400 years; and it all ended as 1950s Umbridge came together to celebrate the first gay wedding between the village's two priests - officiated by God, of course.Inbetween there was romance, drama - tragedy, even - a very meta play-within-a-play and a lot of ridiculous in-jokes as the cast and crew went without sleep to keep the story going.Farmer Francis Butterworth and female Elvis impersonator June Jitterbug lived happily ever after, but self-destructive lord of the manor Tristram Gentley couldn't make his secret relationship with groundskeeper Barn Shedsworth work, even after throwing a special soiree with the help of some passing Irish nuns.Father and son Jean-Luc and Edgar ended up jetting off into space in a stolen Bentley, the Bowmans accidentally invented disco and regained their fortune, and Jerry Green left the village to spread his franchise, the One-Stop Kumquat Shop - in North Korea.Well really - what did you expect?
