Kidnapped at the Capstone

If life was easy, where would all the adventures be…?Hope University theatre space the Capstone welcomes back Sell a Door theatre company on January 29, with a new adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic tale Kidnapped.Penned by up-and-coming playwright Ivan Wilkinson, the show is set against the fierce social and political backdrop of 1750s Scotland. This fast paced, swashbuckling adventure story tells the miraculous tale of Davie Balfour as he survives shipwreck and murder to dramatically escape to the Highlands.Sell a Door is a London-based touring company that collaborates with theatre makers including LIPA, with a remit of making theatre accessible to young people. As such, Kidnapped is suitable for young and old alike.
