Oscar Moments... in the Pilgrim?

Oscar Moments is described as "an alternative stand up comedy show that will bring to life famous scenes from classic movies such as Silence of the Lambs, The Iron Lady, The Dark Knight (pictured, gratuitously, above, because Bane is hot), The Godfather and Black Swan - a varied combination of memorable moments with new and hilarious consequences". Presented by your host for the evening Bobby Moore, the show is the work of a newly-formed theatre company comprising recent graduates from JMU who say they are interested in creating new performance by exploring the boundaries between comedy and theatre. Catch them on Facebook and Twitter. Opening act for the evening is the curiously named Luke Montague show 'The Bro with No Hoe’ (whatever that means), that will apparently kick off the evening with his stories of living with Tourettes syndrome, dating and everyday situations. It's all part of Liverpool Comedy Festival and takes place for one night only at the Pilgrim Pub on Pilgrim Street at 8pm on October 3.
