Review: Christmas with the Rat Pack, Liverpool Empire

Making a living as a Rat Pack tribute act - emulating some of the most iconic figures in entertainment history - has to take cojones. And when you pull it off, replicating that classic Vegas swing style, it must feel a million dollars. Off days, not so much. Baby, it's cold outside; and a trip down to the Empire to see this uninspiring crooners-by-numbers effort is hardly worth a journey out into the frost. This Rat Pack show has been touring for eleven years, and last night, it showed.
