The Playhouse's mystery play

Our friends at the Playhouse had better get their poker faces on, after sending out a very intriguing invite today. They've taken the highly unusual step of calling the press to a launch next week - without so much as a who, what, when, where or why. The lure is the promise of a "major forthcoming production in the autumn", from a company positively dripping with some of the entertainment industry's biggest awards and accolades. And maybe even sandwiches. But who could possibly be worth all this buzz? The Playhouse will only reveal the lead actor is an Oscar and BAFTA award winner, the writer is a multi-BAFTA Award winner, and the director is a multi-Olivier Award winner. After the press conference, one-to-one interviews are available - by appointment only. But who will those who attend end up face-to-face with?! Exciting times. All will be revealed next Monday...
