Tim Minchin arena action

Just when arena comedy was becoming horribly ten a penny, along comes Aussie musical comedian and top Tweeter Tim Minchin, who will be spoiling us with his take on the medium later this year, it has just been announced. And he ain't doing things by halves - the show, Tim Minchin And His Orchestra, includes brand new songs as well as his classics, and as you’ve never heard them before - with the 55 piece Heritage Orchestra. Check out the awesome artwork, too. This isn't messing about.

Tim's been in the ascent for the last couple of years and so it's a real pleasure to see him involved in so many exciting and massive projects at the moment - as well as performing to sell-out crowds around the world, Tim wrote the music and lyrics for the RSC’s new musical version of Roald Dahl’s Matilda, and his radio sitcom ‘Strings’ was broadcast on BBC Radio 2 last year.
