This week MDI, in collaboration with the Bluecoat, presents VITAL!; an international evening of dance by older people. Performing on the night will be The GOLD Company from Australia; the Grand Gestures Dance Collective from Gateshead, Liverpool's own 50 Moves, Growing Older (Dis)Gracefully and Bisakha Sarker, and Marple Movers / Laughing Knees from Stockport, coming together in this mixed bill to share new dance work from around the world in a range of styles featuring choreography from Liz Lea, Bisakha Sarker, Jennie Hale, Maxine Brown, Paula Turner and the dancers themselves.Rachel Rogers, project development manager at MDI says: "It’s wonderful that we are able to present such a range of quality dance from so many older dance companies, proving that dance is a fantastic way for everyone to develop their creativity."Catch VITAL! on Friday night (September 25) at 6.30pm at the Bluecoat - for tickets and more information, visit MDI's website.
