The latest Young Everyman Playhouse season continues this weekend with a promenade comedy production based on Britain's surveillance society called You Are Being Watched, to be performed at Static Gallery on Saturday and Sunday (March 10 and 11) They say: "We’re the most watched nation in the world and the special agents of S.N.E.A.K. are on a secret assignment to do something about it. Trained in the art of disguise and deception, with a sprinkling of silliness and subterfuge, they now need your help." This spy spoof is described as "an undercover comedy caper with a difference" as the audience is asked to join the comic covert operation in You Are Being Watched. The performance will begin at Static Gallery and will culminate with a performance at a secret city centre location where it will be mission accomplished. Sounds very exciting. You Are Being Watched is the second show in the YEP spring season and has once again been created and performed by YEP Young Actors. Matt Rutter, director of Young Everyman Playhouse, said: “The content for You Are Being Watched has been led by the young people of YEP and its ambitious promenade style, location and scale continue the bold vision set out by YEP across this season of productions. “The comedic style and different locations of You Are Being Watched will provide the YEP Young Technicians and Young Actors to apply the variety of skills the YEP programme is giving the young people. You Are Being Watched is a spy comedy that takes inspiration from the likes of Austin Powers and The Pink Panther films – it should be a hoot!”  Performances are at 1pm and 3pm each day and tickets are £4 / £6 with no booking fee (hoorah!) from the box office on 0151 709 4776 or   www.everymanplayhouse.com.
