Beatles' rooftop gig at the Royal Court

A great idea from the Royal Court this week, where they celebrated the 50th anniversary of the release of A Hard Day's Night with a rooftop gig by The Beatles - the cast of their current show Lennon, that is.Their latest production is now in its final week - it runs until Saturday, July 19 - with Cast man John Power returning to the role of John Lennon for the second time. Maybe Power's afraid of heights, as it was ensemble members Mark Newnham, Tom Connor, Danny McIntyre, Ross Higginson and Adam Keast who took to the top of the 'Court to belt out a few tunes. As good as it is, MADEUP didn't catch up with the show on this outing - but here's a review of the first time, and a peek of last week's action, thanks to on-the-spot YouTube user smuts_danforum:http://youtu.be/_PTZFzSnY9c (Photo by Dave the pap)
