New work Place & Chips premieres at Liverpool Unity Theatre

Unity Theatre associate artist Alice Bunker-Whitney debuts her semi-autobiographical solo show Place & Chips at the venue this week.A comic piece exploring the complex relationships we have with our bodies, Place & Chips is a described as "a highly interactive, personal and riotous piece of theatre, told through clown, physical comedy, storytelling and animation."Initially developed atMetal in 2016 as part of ‘Time and Space’ residency there, and followed up with a work-in-progress sharing at the Unity in March 2017, and with support from Arts Council England and a successful crowdfunding campaign, Place & Chips is presented by a cast and crew who all came through artist development training with Hope Street Ltd, including director Montserrat Gili.Catch the show on Friday (March 9) at 8pm or Saturday (March 10) at 4pm and 8pm.
