The National Theatre's award-winning comedy One Man, Two Guvnors will finally be making it to Liverpool, it was announced today. The West End production was hailed as a ‘comic classic’ by The Guardian, and ‘inspired and deliriously funny’ by The Daily Telegraph.Mistaken identity, food, money and romance are high on the agenda in Richard Bean’s English version of Carlo Goldini’s Italian comedy, The Servant of Two Masters. The show features songs by Grant Olding, performed live on stage by The Craze. The physical comedy director is Cal McCrystal, with designs by Mark Thompson, lighting by Mark Henderson, sound design by Paul Arditti, fight direction by Kate Waters and choreography and the tour is directed by Adam Penford.Tickets are on sale now, just in time for Christmas, from the box office on 0844 871 3017 or online at atgtickets.com/liverpool.
