Panto fun at the Empire

"There's only eight weeks left 'til Christmas gerls, SO GO FER IT!" my aerobics instructor Wendy has taken to shouting mid-leg curl in an attempt to motivate us all. With that in mind, there was some by-the-book horseplay at the Empire this week as the cast of this year's panto - sans big names Pamela Anderson and Les Dennis - gathered for a photocall.

Well, you'd be unlikely to get Pammy taking part in the prerequisite shenannigans. There are, after all, rules. Mark Moraghan, Over the Rainbow contestant Dani Rayner, newcomer Marc Mulcahey and radio's own Pete Price donned the sparkly get up of the festive stage and gamely modelled the 'everyone picks up the pretty girl' (above), the classic 'all link arms and skip towards the camera' (below)...

...the 'goody and baddy square up'...

...and the not-so-conventional 'interrupting the public at the box office to pose as if they're after tickets for their own production'.

Good work, chaps. Cinderella runs from December 10 to January 2, 2011.
