Here's something worth sharing - the lovely trailer for this week's Writers Ball courtesy of Ellesmere Port-based Action Transport Theatre.The event takes place on Thursday (November 28) and is now sold out, but watch out for last minute tickets being released.Not just for writers, The Writers’ Ball is a festive celebration of theatre in the North West including a line-up of pop-up performances. Guests will have the opportunity to explore the Georgian Whitby Hall, home of Action Transport Theatre, set in the vast maze of Whitby Park in Ellesmere Port.The line-up includes Freddie Machin of Fol Espoirs hugely successful Winston on the Run; 24:7 Theatre Festival favourite Rob Ward, former Cheshire poet-laureate Joy Winkler, the Contact Compacts team, plus music from Manchester Motown DJ's at Reach Out, drinks, dancing, food and much more.Action Transport Theatre artistic director Hajiyianni says: "Now in its second year, The Writers’ Ball will be bigger and better than ever. It’s important for artists and theatre-makers from across the region to come together and celebrate another successful year of theatre in the North West whilst looking forward to the year ahead."
