Will Peaky Blinders bring Tom Hardy to Liverpool?
MADEUP never needs much of an an excuse to turn attentions to Tom Hardy. In fact, gratuitous pics of the man warrant their own tag on this site - always a pleasure, never a chore and all that. So imagine the joy at the possibilities of having an actual, legitimate reason to reference the Hollywood A-lister on this niche little outlet. The story broke this week that Hardy will star in the next series of the BBC's Peaky Blinders, alongside Cillian Murphy and Sam Neill. The move is explained as the show's writer and director Stephen Knight also worked with the actor in upcoming movie Locke, which already has a fair bit of buzz around it.Peaky Blinders is set in Birmingham though, so what's it got to do with us over here, you may ask? It's no secret that the first series was partly shot in Liverpool and indications are they will do the same for series two. In fact, a neighbour of MADEUP has been contacted by the makers of the programme requesting its use as a potential location, so BANE HIMSELF could end up popping round for a cup of sugar yet. Eep.
