New plays from Grin Productions
If You Didn’t Like That One... and I Am Somebody! are two new short plays by Grin Productions receiving their premiere this week during a free evening of performance at The Fly in the Loaf pub on Hardman Street. The show starts at 8pm on Thursday (September 1), and entry is free. Both set in the (not always) glittering world of showbiz, If You Didn't Like This One.... stars Jon Roberts as Ray Beaumont, a down on his luck TV comedian. The companion piece I Am Somebody!, written by Nick Blackhall, tells the story of two characters who form part of Rays story. A performance of rap poetry from Mister Blackhall, once again related to the shadowy and unforgiving side of show business, takes place between the two plays.
