Ullaloom Halloween show

To celebrate the Halloween season and following the success of What Stalks the Night? at Croxteth Hall last year, this October <a href="http:// www.ullaloom.co.uk">Ullaloom presents another frightful show taking place in the hall's old dining room. Murder at The Masquerade will weave the history and hauntings of the hall into a spooky fictional tale promising drama, laughter and plenty of shivers up the spine. The event is suitable for "brave children and braver adults" -- all are invited to the masquerade, but Ullaloom asks in return that you come wearing a mask. Those of a nervous disposition should be warned that there are many records of very real supernatural occurrences in the ancient house, and unfortunately the can’t promise a happy ending... Ullaloom was formed ten years ago by members of the Hope St Physical Theatre Programme. The company has a penchant for the dark and the mysterious. Previous work includes the Grand Guignol inspired Macabre, Bram Stokers’ Nightmare…Dracula and The Dark Room in which a Victorian photographer re- enacts the gruesome story of Bluebeard. Under the guise of their sister company Petite Ullaloom, the company have co-produced the highly successful Snow Queen and The Red Shoes for the Unity Theatre. Murder at The Masquerade is the second collaboration with Croxteth Hall and they hope to continue producing chilling theatre in non-traditional theatre venues. It takes place on October 24, 25 and 26 at 7.00pm and 8.30pm. Tickets can be purchased through the Unity Theatre,  £10/8 concessions.
