John Graham Davies’ critically acclaimed show Beating Berlusconi! returns to home ground once more this year, coming the Epstein Theatre for a limited run from April 5 to 7.Actor Paul Duckworth reprises his role in the true, bizarre story of how LFC fanatic Mark Radley fulfilled the dream of any devoted Reds fan by charming his way to a seat next to Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi - helping himself to free bubbly and salmon along the way - in the AC Milan directors box at the Ataturk Stadium in Istanbul in 2005.When Liverpool fought back from 3-0 down to equalize, it almost ended in a fight between Radley and the increasingly irritated Prime Minister.Duckworth – most recently seen in Mam, I’m ‘Ere and the final weeks of A Nightmare on Lime Street - has astonished both audiences and critics alike in previous runs of this one man, thirty character show that chronicles forty years of modern British history.
