Bill Bailey Liverpool date announced

Another day, another odd-looking graphic on the homepage of Madeup.lv. No offence to the stars of my last few posts, but I'm going to have to find someone pretty to write about soon before I start giving people weird dreams. But today brings the news that muscial comedian Bill Bailey is coming to the arena this winter with his show Dandelion Mind. Hence today's picture, of a hairy comic with spores coming out of his head.

If any one-man show could make the most of an arena setting, it must be this one, which comes to Liverpool on November 14. The tour in general has been a runaway success, with a West End residency and sell out dates in Australia and New Zealand. Spaced and Hot Fuzz star Bill nurtured Dandelion Mind during a tour of the Scottish Highlands and Northern Britain in May of last year. Performing to small intimate crowds, the tour took in some very remote places including the Shetland Isles and Outer Hebrides. He then went from playing at some of his smallest gigs to one of his biggest, performing a huge open air homecoming gig at Bristol ’s Ashton Gate Stadium in June, and since then the run has been doubled to keep up with demand.
