Mam I'm 'Ere star heads to Lime Street
It's a busy start to the year for Liverpool actor Paul Duckworth, who will now be appearing in three different shows in the next few weeks.Keep an eye out for him completing the last few shows of the hugely entertaining Christmas show Mam, I'm 'Ere at The Dome on Renshaw Street, which ends on Saturday night; and straight after that, it has just been announced he will be stepping in to replace Mark Monaghan for the rest of the extended run of A Nightmare on Lime Street at the Royal Court, until January 26.Kevin Fearon, the producer of the show and chief executive of Royal Court Liverpool, said: “When we discussed the extension we knew that we would be losing Mark but as soon as we knew that Paul was available we jumped at the chance to have him back here. We are sorry that Mark can’t finish the run with us because he has been brilliant but Paul is the perfect replacement.”Paul himself says: “It was really good to get the call. I am just finishing one great Christmas show, and now I get to appear in another one.I know most of the cast and the crew at the Royal Court so hopefully it will be an easy one to slot into. I finish Mam on Saturday then I’ve got a week of rehearsal and straight into Nightmare.”After that, he joins the tour of Spike Theatre's new production, Sink or Swim, which opens at the Playhouse Studio from February 18 to 23, a taste of which you can see in this new trailer:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xEa9yTs9EJQ
