Walking home today I spied another camera crew on the corner of my street. A relatively small operation, they appeared to be filming a sequence through an upstairs window of a house on Falkner Square. A quick nosey and gab with someone on set revealed it seems to be another episode of Jimmy McGovern's acclaimed series Moving On (Wire star Dominic West directed a one-off episode at locations including The Quarter last year).
One thing that's for definite is that stars Miranda/ Alan Partridge/ Smack the Pony star Sally Phillips, who could be seen in a rather striking (and possibly period?) red costume this afternoon, and they are said to be filming again tomorrow in the park of the square itself.
