Unity Theatre makes its way to the Departure Lounge
From the Martini Lounge to the Departure Lounge, and a premiere from InSTEP Theatre of a “high energy comedy musical” coming to the Unity in a month’s time. With the tagline “four hormonal teenagers. One delayed plane. A holiday that they’ll never forget”, Departure Lounge tells the story of Jordan, Pete, Ross and JB, who have had the time of their lives in Malaga. A week full of booze, girls and sunburn has left them with great stories to tell. But who is being completely honest and when the truth comes out , and --- dun-dun-dunnnn -- will their friendship survive? InSTEP comprises third year LIPA students Christian Butterworth (producer) and Lauren Atkins (associate producer), and freelance producer and LIPA graduate Laura Trapp. Departure Lounge is on from February 1 – 4, with a post-show discussion with writer Dougal Irvine on the 2nd.
