Royal Court Liverpool has announced it is welcoming back Birkenhead Operatic Society Trust with their brand new production of The Full Monty in May next year -- but first they have to find it's stars.  Feel like baring all? Based on the smash hit 1997 British comedy film, The Full Monty stage musical is the Americanised tale of how a group of ordinary men and their families cope with redundancy.  The guys come up with a bold way to make some quick cash, but will they go through with it?  The company will be holding open auditions on Sunday and Monday September 23 and 24 at their headquarters in Clifton Road in Birkenhead. Details and a list of the roles can be found on the BOST website, www.operatic.org.uk.  In addition to the adults, a boy is needed to play the role of 12-year-old Nathan, around whom much of the show revolves.  The show will be in the hands of BOST’s regular artistic director, Elsie Kelly from ITV’s Benidorm, together with their professional musical director and choreographer.  ”I am confident that there is plenty of local talent out there, ready to step forward,” Elsie says. It will be the first time since 2002 that the theatre company has appeared on stage at the Royal Court but their links with the theatre go back to the 1940s.  The theatre says welcoming a BOST show back is a sign of a developing artistic programme at the Royal Court. Chief exec Kevin Fearon says: “The Royal Court was always seen as Liverpool’s number one for music and theatre and we want to get back to those days. Next year will be the building’s 75th anniversary, and we are delighted to be celebrating with such a historic local theatre company.”
